英文摘要:This thesis mainly researches the development of Taiwan Agricultural Shen Nung (Religion). The focus lies in several aspects like the beliefs in Taiwan Shen Nung theory, which started from the myth fable in ancient times. These beliefs were carried by Fujian and Guangdong immigrants and later flowered in Taiwan. The thesis began from the primitive status of Agricultural Shen Nung. Then, it went on the process of how the original Shen Nung converted to Taiwan Agricultural Shen Nung. This process included several period from Japanese-governed time, in which people recorded the characteristics to nowadays how Shen Nung was operated in the field. The first chapter describes the motive to research this topic, the source of the material, and the technique and the goal. The second chapter discusses the evolvement by contrasting and comparing different periods, such as the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Japanese-governed period, and the Taiwan restoration period. The beliefs changed from time to time. This third chapter concerns the establishment and development of the Agricultural Shen Nung in Taiwan. The beliefs carried by immigrants and the construction of temples could help deduce Shen Nung at that time. Ultimately, it extended and developed at every place in Taiwan. The fourth and fifth chapters are about the structure of Shen Nung. It mentions the changing and blending characteristics of agricultural god. One of its identity is sea god, which was seldom noticed and .By , it can represent the personality of each god in the sea. The diversity of the agricultural gods becomes Taiwan unique features. In the sixth chapter, based on each chapter it outlines the development of Taiwan Agricultural Shen Nung as a whole and elaborate the culture richness flowered in Taiwan.
